The gel type rechargeable batteries are standard equipment in most Sweeney feeders. We buy direct from the manufacturer and ship them to you with a full charge. You will always receive a fresh battery from Sweeney. These type of batteries vent no harmful fumes. Comes complete with a one year warranty. Batteries should be charged with a charger that charges at less than 1 amp/hr. Do not use an automotive battery charger. All of batteries come with a 1 year warranty.
